Melanie R. Gliatto was born and raised in South Jersey, right outside Philadelphia. Following in her father and older brother’s footsteps, Melanie began playing soccer at a young age. She soon developed her love for the game and an overwhelming desire to be the best. This competitive nature carried into every aspect of her life and prospered most of the goals she has today.
After high school, Melanie attended Catawba College where she was a part of the women’s soccer program. She later transferred to Kutztown University where she continued her academic and athletic aspirations. In 2016 she graduated from Kutztown with a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and minor in Business Administration. Melanie went on to complete her legal education at Charleston School of Law. While in law school, Melanie worked in the hospitality industry as a server and bartender. She was also a member of the Environmental Law Society and the Hospitality Chair for the first Environmental Law Summit hosted by the Charleston School of Law.
Melanie passed the South Carolina Bar in 2019. She practices divorce, family law, and estate planning for our firm. She is also a member of the South Carolina Young Lawyers Division.
In her spare time, Melanie enjoys spending time with her dog, Layla, going to the beach, and seeing live music. She also plays soccer in a local co-ed league, something she says will continue to be a constant in her life until she cannot play anymore.
